Come With Me...

...to the tropics!  Tropical design is a tricky one, don't you think?  It can easily slip into what I call "Magnum P.I." decor, but when done right*, I think it's fantastic.  Check out these beauties and imagine yourself actually being there!

*and in the right climate - it somehow doesn't fly here in the Seattle rain :)

This entry, and the next image, set just the right mood...

Funny I didn't even notice that little doggie until I pasted this image into this post.  Cute!

Tropics
You can't go to the tropics and not take a nap in a hammock!

If you're interested you can find an older post of tropical designs here.

Also, a big THANK YOU for all of the supportive comments about me posting less frequently.  Thanks again for being awesome readers, friends and/or fellow bloggers. (some of you are all three - lucky me!)

my favorite way to inject this tropic vibe at home is to order exotics from a place i like in hawaii. i only do it once in awhile, but they stay fresh looking for weeks, and against my monochromatic rooms, they pop with life!

smiles to you.

Oh, the soaking tub with it's own private garden is to die for!!!
